Write It Right was founded due to the growing need for an Consumer Advocate who will represent property owners during the insurance claims process.  There are countless cases of contractors submitting and adjusters approving inaccurate and careless estimates. It is far to common to have an an estimate approved that has missing necessary materials and only surface damage considerations. Failing to uncover extensive hidden damage leaves the contractor unable to restore the property back to its pre-loss conditions and the property owner with less compensation than their policy entitled them to.

Experience is the Best Teacher

The company founder, Matthew Nelson, has extensive construction experience as well as over 8 years of experience working in the insurance industry and as an independent adjuster.  Matthew was a first responder during Hurricane Zeta and Hurricane Ida in Louisiana.  He saw first hand the devastation that can happen as the result of a storm. Matthew has also seen the damage that can happen to a property owner if their claim is not handled properly.

This professional experience has equipped him with the needed experience and the compassionate zeal to be a consumer advocate for property owners that need to file insurance claims.
