One point of coordination. Clear property records.
Help your owners understand what is damaged and what is disputed.
Property managers often coordinate between owners, onsite staff, contractors, and insurance representatives. When estimates disagree or information is spread across several buildings, the claim can become difficult to follow.
Write It Right helps organize damage documentation and present supported claim information on the property owner's behalf. We begin by understanding your role, the owner’s priorities, the claim stage, and the records already available.
Keep ownership clear
Identify the insured property owner and the manager’s role. Establish who can authorize representation, provide documents, and make claim decisions.
Keep each claim traceable
Label locations, buildings, policies, reported events, and claim numbers consistently. A portfolio-wide summary should point back to the records for each property.
Keep the next step visible
Record the current carrier position, missing information, disputed estimate items, and the person responsible for each response.
Commercial roofs & managed properties
Choose the guidance that matches the property.
Large flat and low-slope roofs
Review the system and the basis for proposed work. See gravel-ballasted roof claims and warehouse TPO roof disputes.
Apartment and multifamily sites
Organize reported damage and repair scopes building by building. See our apartment-complex hail claim guide.
Underpaid or disputed estimates
Identify specific differences in the claim record and estimate. Explore underpaid commercial insurance claim help.
A practical claim handoff
Start with a concise property and claim summary.
For each affected property, gather a location list, the reported loss timeline, carrier correspondence, available estimates, and the main unresolved questions. Label photographs by building and roof area so the supporting evidence can be matched to the proposed repairs.
Keep routine maintenance history, temporary repair records, and reported new damage distinguishable. If several owners or policies are involved, maintain separate files and identify the contacts responsible for each.
We can discuss what further documentation may be appropriate and explain proposed services before the owner decides whether to engage us.
Include in your review request
- Your company, role, and contact details
- Property location and type
- Number of affected buildings or locations
- Reported damage and approximate loss date
- Estimated damage range, if known
- Whether the claim is new, estimated, underpaid, or disputed
- Your main question about the scope or carrier response
Use the initial form for a brief summary. Sensitive owner, resident, and policy documents can be discussed during follow-up.
Property management claim questions
Can a property management company request a review for an owner?
Yes. Provide your role, the property location, and a brief summary of the loss. We will clarify the owner’s authority and the manager’s involvement before any representation agreement.
Can you help with several properties affected by the same storm?
We can discuss multiple affected locations in Illinois and Wisconsin. The review needs to distinguish owners, policies, reported damage, and claim files. A shared storm date does not mean every property has the same coverage or repair scope.
What if our contractor’s proposal exceeds the insurance estimate?
Start by identifying the specific scope, quantity, or pricing differences. We can review the available documents and discuss whether further investigation or claim presentation may be useful. A higher total alone does not prove an underpayment.
Do we need a final damage estimate before contacting you?
No. Our focus is $500,000+ property losses, but you can select “Not sure yet” and describe the buildings and reported damage. The first conversation helps establish whether our services fit.
Will you replace the property manager or select our contractor?
Our role is public adjusting for the property owner’s claim. Property management, repair contracting, and operational decisions remain with the owner and its authorized team. Proposed services and fees are discussed before engagement.

Request a review for your managed property.
Tell us which properties were affected, the estimated damage range, and the current claim status. Select the closest property type on the form and note your management role in the message.
Services and fees are explained before engagement. An inquiry does not create a representation agreement.
